  Pub screaming potential, but suffocated with underachievement.
  Poor to average. Lower class. Mediocre.
  I drove past a few lambs, fancied a lamb burger, seeing as it's spring. I took a quick detour to The Three Horseshoes seeing as they've jazzed it up online. They had a lamb burger with mint on the menu, but had no lamb, so I was genuinely gutted from the get go. Decided on a standard beef burger instead and it came out basking in a pool of grease (not much choice anyway), it was shocking, I should have worn a swim suit or a full body serviette.
  My medium burger looked like it had been grilled on a barbie, accompanied with a side of "slaw" (posh for budget coleslaw with no sauce very similar to dry rabbit food) the "slaw" was brown, out of date, or it was just subject to a number of experimental procedures, including possibly, the concoction of the chefs breath to old dry carrot.
  Moaned, and complained about the yellow fatty "juis" splurging out of the burger every bite I took, and was told it was just "juice".
  Ordered a pint of Stella, they had none.
  Asked for Estrella, bantered it was just "me today" and she couldn't change the barrel. Poor.
  Toilet smelt like rotten salmon.
  No heat inside the building, had to keep my jacket on because "he won't turn the heating on"; who's he?
  Made a complaint when the food came out, the acknowledgment we got was "well we've never had a complaint before".
  Well sorry your pub grub that your menu made out to be gourmet was more like burger van at a boot sale but this had to call for 2/5 stars.
  I would have given it a 1, but decided on the extra 1 star because one of your nice staff referred me to the local reptile/aquatics centre and I'm now going to buy a python, apart from that - weak, genuinely disappointed.
  Your drinks are far too overpriced as well! Paid for 4 drinks which could have got well over a litre of expensive liquor.
  Up the quality, as well as the service. Initially I was attracted to the fact you had a wood burning fire, but no. It was cold, nobody cared we were cold. Overpriced sludge.
  Waste of time.

  Love the Three Horseshoes, best nachos ever and I've never had a bad evening or lunch here. Pleasant staff and great food. Highly recommend.

  I've just read some good reviews and some poor ones. I can say that this is a beautiful old pub with lovely staff. The food was fantastic! Service was great. We have moved near by and this will become our friendly local. I believe some people just like to moan about nothing. This is a perfect place to eat, have a night out or just to pop for a pint. Perfect place!
